Major Responsibilities

Develop and implement security strategies: Design and execute policies and procedures to ensure the effective security and protection of the organization’s assets as well as to keep 100% compliance with C-TPAT, OEA and any specific Assets Security requirements from our customers.
Lead internal and external audits in relation to Assets Security Topics from C-TPAT, OEA, or Specific Customer Customers.
Team security supervision: Manage and lead a team of security professionals, providing direction, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Risk and vulnerability assessment: Conduct periodic security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in facilities and assets, proposing effective solutions.
Coordination with external agencies: Collaborate with law enforcement (local or State or Federal police), emergency services (ex. Firefighters, ambulance, etc.), and other security agencies to ensure an efficient response in crisis situations.
Implementation, Administration of security technologies: Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarms, etc.
Incident investigation: Lead investigations into security incidents, collecting and analyzing information to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
Record keeping: Ensure proper documentation of all security procedures, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
Maintain a drug free environment reinforcing the hiring process background investigation and external resources if needed.
Establish and maintain contacts and communications with external resources such as Local, State and Federal Police, traffic police or military.
Security audits and compliance: Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, making recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
Emergency preparedness: Develop and regularly update emergency response plans, ensuring that all personnel are trained and familiar with procedures for various crisis scenarios.
Additional responsibilities:

Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing security measures and processes, staying informed about emerging threats and technologies to ensure the security program’s ongoing effectiveness.
Training and awareness programs: Develop and implement security training programs for employees, raising awareness about security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Budget management: Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and manage the security budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for optimal security outcomes.
Collaboration with stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, and key stakeholders to promote a culture of security and facilitate effective communication.
Crisis communication: Establish and implement communication protocols for disseminating information during security incidents, both internally and externally, to minimize impact and maintain public confidence.
Vendor management: Evaluate and select security vendors, manage relationships, and oversee the performance of external security service providers.
Security awareness campaigns: Launch campaigns to promote security awareness among employees, encouraging a collective responsibility for maintaining a secure work environment.

Education and Qualifications:

Fluent in English, in writing and business communications.
Previous experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in security roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position (direct experience at the Electronic Industry is highly valued).
Education: Bachelor’s degree (a degree in Security, Criminology as well as Security certifications are highly valued).
Technical skills: Deep knowledge of electronic security systems, emergency response procedures, and crisis management as well as C-TPAT and OEA standards.
Leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as make effective decisions in pressure situations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, authorities, management, and other stakeholders.
