PCB Manager 

General Purpose:

Lead and manage the WYMX PCB development department to support WYHQ Layout projects. After establishing of this team, layout projects could be facilitated seamless between two sites, enabling the implementation of a 24-hour work schedule every day.


Major Responsibilities

– Support PCB layout design projects from WYHQ, Design-in, Placement, Routing, DRC, and GERBER file generation are all included.
– Standardize PCB design documentation at WYMX site.
– Guide colleagues in design to meet design schedules, ensuring that design quality aligns with product functionalities, manufacturability, and assembly requirements.
– Maintain or develop automation programs under design software environment, such as Allegro skill or Valor script.
– Create and maintain various SOP and check List documents.
– Communicate with customers regarding technical aspects of PCB design and methods related to constraint control.

– Lead the equipment and personnel affairs of PCB design department.
– Implement the regulations set by the supervisor to ensure execution within the department.
– Manage projects and personnel within the department.
– Assist department members in completing PCB designs.
– Install, upgrade, and maintain all relevant software tools and systems.
– Manage the performance and KPIs of department members.
– Coordinate the department’s work with each function team.
Education and Qualifications:

– Fluent in English, in writing and business communications.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or other engineering field with 6+ years of PCB design experiences, including 2+ years of leadership experiences.
– Received training at WYHQ and collaborated with RD for more than 6 months.


Skills and Attributes

– Strong knowledge of electrical design, PCB design, PCB fabrication and PCB assembly processes.
– Familiar with “Allegro PCB design” operation and CAM tool to study and review PCB design.
– Comprehend various components and their package types.
– Experienced in personal computer setup and application program installation.
– Planning and prioritizing projects.
– Good at communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
